Modo.us VIP Guide
How Modo's VIP and Modo Stars systems work, which games are worth grinding, and how to realistically reach Silver VIP.
How Modo's VIP System Works
Modo runs VIP ranks from Steel all the way up to Black Diamond. Your rank carries over benefits like your Daily Bonus and Weekly VIP Discounts, but you need to keep earning Loyalty Points to maintain and advance your status.
Along the way you'll trigger "Click N' Claim" rewards at both milestones and full rank-ups, each one paying out free SC directly.
Earning Loyalty Points
Both Gold Coin and Sweepstakes Coin play earn Loyalty Points, but since GC is far more disposable, the efficient strategy is to use GC to do the heavy lifting toward your VIP progress.
You can track your current rank progress in the sidebar of your account at any time.
Best Games for Grinding
Not every game earns Loyalty Points at the same rate. A few standouts:
- Modo Original Plinko — solid for grinding, though it has no autoplay so it requires active play
- Shark Frenzy (Slotmill) — supports Burst Mode, which speeds up the grind significantly
All Modo originals besides blackjack and roulette count as "instant games," which earn Loyalty Points at the same rate as slots.
Modo Stars: A Second Reward Track
Playing with GC also earns you Modo Stars, a separate currency redeemable in the Stars Store for free SC or gift cards. By the time you hit Silver VIP, you should have enough Stars saved up to redeem for roughly 10 free SC on top of everything else you've earned.
Stockpiling Gold Coins
The fuel for all of this is GC, and the best ways to stock up are:
- Discount sales (these run frequently on Modo)
- Community coupons
- Rolling offers
- The VIP weekly discount sale
Summary
- Use GC, not SC, to grind Loyalty Points and progress through ranks
- Collect every milestone and rank-up reward along the way
- Stick to Modo Plinko and Burst-Mode slots like Shark Frenzy — avoid Dice Clash post-nerf
- Don't ignore Modo Stars — redeem them regularly in the Stars Store
- Stockpile GC through sales, coupons, and weekly VIP discounts rather than buying at full price
